FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
NO! You do not need any experience in fitness at all. Anyone and EVERYONE are welcomed no matter their age, gender, or athletic ability. You will only be challenged at a level that is appropriate for you. (Everything is optional and modifications are in every class.) We welcome ages 13 and older with a parent participating.
There is a 8- hour cancellation policy for all classes. Cancellation within 9 hours of the start of class will result in members being charged a $9 late cancel fee.
Members who “no show” to class without canceling their reservation will be charged a $14 “no show” fee. If you had an unforeseen emergency come up and you were not able to attend please send an email to @thebikebarre@gmail.com and it will be taken into consideration.
You can book a class one month in advance.
Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before class. This will allow you time to get ready for class. Our doors lock right at the start of class. This is to ensure the safety of our team members.
By adding yourself to a waitlist you are confirming you can make the class, even with short notice. When you make it off the waitlist you are sent an email to confirm your spot. Clients who make it off the waitlist are subject to the late cancel policy unless communicated through email that they are unable to attend the class. Guests who do not get off the waitlist will receive no penalty. (class pass holders will receive their credit back)
Currently, we only offer intro to bungee for a beginner class. Barre and Bike classes are modified to fit everyone's needs. We recommend taking all classes at your own pace.
Like bike, barre is a high intensity, low impact workout. Barre focuses on strengthen, lengthen, and increasing balance using a mixture of different workouts inspired by ballet, Pilates, yoga, and functional fitness. Don't worry, we aren't your typical barre studio- we are just a room full of people having fun and celebrating the movement of our bodies.
The Bike Barre cycle class consist of a high intensity, low impact workout. It is a full body workout choregraphed for everyone! Incorporated in every class are good jams and good vibes.
You need a water, a towel (for sweat, if you want it!), and cycle shoes. Our bike class requires you to clip in with SPD cleats. No worries, if you don't have a pair! Cycle shoes are available for rent $2 at the front desk.
For barre, you will just need to bring yourself and water for hydration. All equipment is provided.
Our memberships are set up on auto-renewal. Each package will auto-renew on the date of purchase.
To cancel a membership, you must send an email to the studio at least two weeks prior to your next auto-renewal date. This time line gives the staff plenty of time to fix this for you.
As of right now, our studio is not set up for childcare.
Class participants must be 13 years or older. If you are 13-15 years old you must have an adult with you. Ages 16-17 do not require an adult, but their legal guardian must sign the online waiver.
The studio will respond to emails sent to thebikebarre@gmail.com. Direct messages often get lost. Please refrain from DMs and personal text messages as this can cause the issues to not get resolved correctly.
